The community of West Rouge is on the eastern edge of the City of Toronto's boundaries. The community is bounded by the Rouge River to the east, Highland Creek/ Port Union Road to the west, Kingston Road to the north and Lake Ontario to the south.
What started as a small settlement in the mid 1800's, is now a lovely neighbourhood of split level homes, bungalows and large 2 storey homes.
There are many parks and beaches in the area which offer a variety of activities for area residents. There is fishing, canoeing and kayaking in the Rouge river, as well as picnicking and swimming along the waterfront beaches.

West Rouge Park is a popular park for residents and visitors with many of the above mentioned activities available to do.

T.T.C buses run along Lawrence Ave East, Kingston Road and Port Union Road.
